The Concurs de Castells event due on Saturday, 5th of October will start at 4.30pm. The event due on Sunday, 6th of October, will start at 10am. The doors of the Tarraco Arena Plaça (TAP) will open in both cases 1 hour and 15 minutes before the start of the event; that is, at 3.15pm on Saturday and at 8.45am on Sunday.
Don’t forget that seats are not numbered.
In order to access TAP, it is necessary to show your ticket at the entrance, whether it is printed or on your mobile phone. If you have any issues with your ticket, please visit the ticket office where staff will be happy to help you.
There are 2 entrances for the public: one on Mallorca street and the other on Jaume I street.
There is bar service available at TAP.
You can enter the venue with your own drinks and food for personal consumption. However, for safety reasons, cans, glass containers or bottles over 1 litre cannot be carried inside. Metal cutlery, canes or other blunt objects are also not allowed inside.
TAP does not have a cloakroom service or baby trolley area. In this sense, it is recommended that trolleys are kept outside the plaza. If strictly necessary, trolley must then be properly folded inside the plaza.
Children up to 3 years old can go inside the plaza without a ticket, but with no dedicated seat.
Both spectators and castellers can leave the TAP and re-enter the venue once the Concurs de Castells has started, which will be managed at the entrance.
Cars are restricted to the streets surrounding the TAP (Mallorca, Alguer, Jaume I, Eïvissa), as well as Lleida and Vidal i Barraquer streets (near the Tabacalera).
Mobile units and professional image recording equipment must be previously validated by sending an email to comunicacio@concursdecastells.cat.
A castellers fair will take place outside the TAP, on Mallorca street, as well as a giant screen, so that people can follow the event. This can also be done online on this website’s home, via TAC12 tv and the rest of channels of Xarxa de Televisions Locals.
