In 2016, the Concurs de Castells de Tarragona brought back the 70s Himne Casteller (the 'castells' anthem) to make it the official song of that year’s competition. The musician Jordi Molina arranged two new versions of this musical composition, which had remained forgotten for years. The first is a version for three voices and kettledrums recorded by the graller group So Nat from Tarragona. The second is a more pop version played by Salva Racero, singer of Lax'n'Busto.
The Himne Casteller was performed on the three days of the Concurs de Castells: on the 25th of September in Torredembarra and on the 1st and 2nd of October in the Tarraco Arena Plaça in Tarragona.
