The mayor of Tarragona, Rubén Viñuales, and the director of Caixabank’s Institucions de la Territorial Catalunya, Joaquim Macià, signed a sponsorship agreement by the entity, due to the organisation of the 2024 Concurs de Castells. The agreement states that Caixabank will be part of such a relevant event for the city, which will result in the entity’s logo being present in all communication media as well as being one of the organizers of the event.
The mayor of Tarragona was very pleased for the contribution of this entity to the city and, more specifically, to the competition, “as this proves we are building a top competition, a high-level event, which will turn Tarragona into the castells capital city and will increase the number of important sponsors and collaborators from our country”. He also thanked the contribution and attendance of the territorial director.
On the other hand, Macià stressed that “with this agreement, CaixaBank reinforces its commitment with the country and Catalan traditions by supporting projects that enrich people’s lives. Tarragona’s Concurs de Castells is an emblematic event that reflects values such as teamwork, collective effort and social cohesion, values we share and promote at CaixaBank”.
